Sustainable Events on the Electrified Josephine

Quiet and full of charm: Since 2024, the harbor barge Josephine has been sailing with a modern and eco-friendly electric drive. Perfect for special occasions celebrated in style and with an eye to the future. Whether team event, wedding, or birthday celebration – from April to October, the Josephine takes you on an emission-free cruise along the Spree and Landwehr Canal, relaxed and climate-friendly, past Berlin’s most beautiful landmarks. Enjoy the elegant atmosphere on board with a fully equipped bar and on-board kitchen. On sunny days, the roof and side windows open up to create a unique open-air feeling right on the water. And should the weather not cooperate, the roof stays closed – ensuring a comfortable and protected experience you can still enjoy to the fullest.

Important: Self-catering is not permitted on board – all food and beverages are exclusively provided by our on-board kitchen and bar.

The perfect tour for your event: Our 3.5-hour Bridge Tour takes you along Berlin’s most scenic waterways – from Urbanhafen in Kreuzberg through the Landwehr Canal and the Spree, past historic landmarks such as the Government District, Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, and the East Side Gallery. Enjoy views of the Chancellery, Bellevue Palace, Oberbaum Bridge, and much more. The tour can be extended or customized upon request – for example, for a relaxed cruise towards Rummelsburger Bucht or Treptower Park.

Home port and other mooring options: The Josephine and her larger sister ship Philippa depart from and return to Urbanhafen in Kreuzberg. Other boarding locations and intermediate stops are available for an additional fee. Moorings in Berlin are subject to charges and must be registered in advance.
